Insurance & Billing Basics

Understanding your financial responsibility is key. Here are some common terms.

A fixed amount (e.g., $25) you pay for a covered health care service at the time of your visit.

Your share of the costs of a covered service, calculated as a percentage (e.g., 20%) of the allowed amount. You typically pay co-insurance after your deductible has been met.

With a high-deductible plan, you are responsible for the full, negotiated cost of services until you meet your plan's large deductible. Your insurance carrier provides minimal adjustments to the cost during this period.

This is the price for our services if you are not using insurance. We offer transparent cash-pay pricing and can provide details upon request. We accept credit cards, check, or cash payments.
